Our Story
Cafe Du Sol was built slowly, imperfectly, and on purpose — for a neighborhood, not just a customer base.
"Of the soil" — from the ground. A nod to where everything we serve actually begins: real ingredients, grown and sourced with care, not manufactured shortcuts.
"Sun" — warmth, light, and the slow, unhurried mornings this cafe is built around. The same word, carrying a second meaning entirely.
"
Our space takes its shape from wabi-sabi — the Japanese idea that there's real beauty in the imperfect, the impermanent, and the incomplete. A chipped mug still holds your coffee. An uneven wall still holds the light. Nothing here was built to look flawless — it was built to feel honest.
You'll see it in the way our sandwiches are plated without pretense, in ceramics that don't quite match, and in a menu that changes with the seasons instead of staying frozen in time.

Our Slogan
It's not just a phrase — it's how this cafe was actually built. Every cup, every dish, every relationship with the people who walk through our door was built slowly, by hand, with intention. Nothing here was shortcut. From the soil our ingredients come from, to the community we've grown around us, everything started from the ground, and grew from there.
Our menu doesn't pick one culture and stop there — it borrows the best of a few, made with respect for where they came from.
Simple, pressed, and built to be eaten as they are — cured meats, real cheese, and good bread, without unnecessary fuss.
Slow-dripped, bold, and traditional — brewed the way it's been brewed for generations, not reinvented for the sake of it.
Ceremonial-grade, whisked with care — a quiet ritual we didn't want to rush, even in a to-go cup.
Our Seasonal Menu
Our limited-edition drinks are shaped by mono no aware — the gentle Japanese awareness of life's impermanence, and the quiet beauty found in things that are fleeting.
A pumpkin spice cream foam in fall. A sakura-blossom matcha in spring. These aren't just seasonal flavors — they're a small, deliberate reminder that some things are worth appreciating precisely because they don't stay forever.
Before anything else, Cafe Du Sol is a place to slow down. We built this space to feel like somewhere you're welcome to stay a while — to relax, to linger, to be treated like a neighbor rather than a transaction. Good food and good coffee matter deeply to us, but so does the feeling of walking through our door.
